Her sweet mom contacted me about a week after she was born.  I am blessed that I got to photograph her within a few days after that.  Here she is at 11 days old.

It was a typical Hilo day with an overcast sky, but it was the perfect weather for a family shoot!  I met Roxy in a prenatal/ postnatal yoga class at Yoga Centered when she was about 8 or 9 months pregnant with her little boy.  Yoga Centered is one of my favorite places to go for some relaxing, yet challenging, yoga classes.  They have some really great teachers there.  Anyway, a month after Roxy gave birth, I got to meet cute little Hunter!  Months went by and here he is with his fun-loving parents at 8 months old, when he was just starting to climb and stand on his own.

Not too long ago, I discovered consignment shops in Hilo, particularly the ones for babies.  They are an amazing thing!  You can get so many cool stuff that were already used but in good condition.  Many of the things in the store are items that aren’t sold in Hilo and you would need to buy it online at full price.  Downtown Hilo has one called Tiny Bubbles located in the Rainbow-Jo store on Kilauea Avenue.  We stopped in one time and found this really cool Radio Flyer trike.  We just had to get it for Ella!  Here she is enjoying her first “ride.”

A few years back, my husband James and I photographed this couple and their wedding.  It was so nice to photograph them again, this time with their handsome baby boy.  Patrick and Renee are so proud of him and it definitely shows through!
